There were well over 60 people attending this year's Pentecost celebration. Alex Jay had the sermonette and spoke of the giving of the Law at Mount Sinai, as well as a review of Pentecost in Acts 2. Pastor Jake Meyer spoke on Exodus Chapter 19 on the unity of the people when they received the law through Moses and related that to Hebrews 12 where we now go, not to an earthly mountain, but to a heavenly one.
We had families attending from Missouri, Michigan, Virginia, Delaware and, of course, Pennsylvania. There were ten specials presented during services and all were very inspiring and uplifting. Music is a very large part of our worship services to our Heavenly Father and this special day was no exception. The children who attended services presented specials as well as the adults. It is very, very inspiring to see children being raised in the Faith and lifting up their beautiful voices to our Father!
As always, we had a wonderful Turkey Dinner prepared by the Ladies of our Assembly (a big thanks to the fellows that helped as well!). Following the formal services, most stayed for individual studying or small group study as well as fellowshipping with those you only get to see a few times during the year. It is our sincere prayer that all who observed Yahweh's Feast of Weeks Celebration were blessed by doing so. He makes us this promise in His word, the Holy Bible.
