Our Purpose

We, the people of Yahweh's Frystown Assembly, assemble to praise and worship our father in Heaven and His Son, our Savior, Yahshua the Messiah. We strive to follow Yahshua's example of love and faithfulness, for He is the image of the immortal Yahweh. This is accomplished through fellowship, personal witness and demonstrating by the changed lives we live that there is a better way than that offered by the world.

We strive to exhibit our love for our fellow man by reaching out to spread news of this new and living way wherever and however Yahweh's Spirit leads. Our ultimate goal is to glorify and magnify Yahweh's great Name, to show by the emphasis in our personal lives the temporariness of this present existence and the hope we have of the reality upon which Yahweh's promises to mankind are founded. We seek the eternal heavenly Kingdom and show this to others by our transformed demeanor, strong family units and love of sharing with all created in our Heavenly Father's image, His eternal truths. All these elements coalesce to make a strong assembly devoted to Yahweh and His Truth.

We uphold His eternal law and recognize that the laws He gave relating to earthy things, while good, are by definition themselves temporary. These are to be utilized as a schoolmaster to lead us to the greater, eternal, heavenly reality.

Lastly, we gather to share our common salvation through faith which enables us to seek Yahweh's face and gives us the hope of someday dwelling together forever with Yahweh and Yahshua among us.

What to Expect

Our service format is fairly simple. The Assembly provides pre-service refreshments between 11:00 and 11:25 every Sabbath morning. Services start promptly at 11:30. We sing, pray, have several messages, sing and pray some more, and break for a pot-luck lunch around 2:00 p.m. and are all packed up and gone by 5:00 p.m.  The first Sabbath of most months we hold a general assembly meeting following services and lunch. The second and fourth Sabbaths we try to have a Bible Study from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Music is mainly contemporary. There are several guitars and a drum set and many of the songs are scriptures set to music.  Many songs were written by members of the congregation.

If bringing food for the meal (this is optional), please honor Yahweh's clean food laws and avoid pork, shellfish, gelatin or lard (see Leviticus 11 or Deuteronomy 14).  There is a stove and refrigerator in the building to facilitate protecting and/or heating perishable foods.

We encourage married women to cover their heads and men not to cover theirs, according to our understanding of 1 Corinthians 11.

Directions to the Meeting Hall

We meet at a building called the North Jackson Grange at 11:30 every Sabbath (Saturday) morning. The building is an older two-story brick building at the intersection of Woleber Road and Kutztown Road about 4 miles northwest of Myerstown, in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania.
